Preschool volunteers nurture a safe, joyful environment where little ones can begin to know God’s love. Some rock babies, others play and read stories, while others guide preschoolers through simple Bible lessons. Every act of care points toward one goal: helping our youngest kids feel safe, loved, and excited to learn about Jesus.
Volunteer Screening Process
At FBCLS, we care deeply about creating a safe, welcoming environment for everyone—from our youngest preschoolers to our oldest members. Since volunteers in many of our ministries serve alongside minors or other vulnerable people, all volunteers complete a background check through Checkr.com before joining a team. After you apply, you’ll receive an email with next steps for that process. Once cleared, a ministry leader will reach out to invite you to a volunteer orientation.
