Operations volunteers keep things running smoothly so ministry can flourish. Some help with office projects or facility maintenance. Others set up for events, organize supplies, or assist during the week. No matter the task, the heart is the same: using practical skills to help ministry happen with excellence and care.
Volunteer Screening Process
At FBCLS, we care deeply about creating a safe, welcoming environment for everyone—from our youngest preschoolers to our oldest members. Since volunteers in many of our ministries serve alongside minors or other vulnerable people, all volunteers complete a background check through Checkr.com before joining a team. After you apply, you’ll receive an email with next steps for that process. Once cleared, a ministry leader will reach out to invite you to a volunteer orientation.
