Help People Grow in Faith—Together

Volunteer Community Group leaders help create spaces where people can connect and grow. Some lead Bible studies and discussions during Sunday morning group time. Others host gatherings, organize events, or simply make room for new friendships to form. However you serve, the goal is the same: helping people grow closer to Jesus and to one another through authentic community.

Volunteer Screening Process

At FBCLS, we care deeply about creating a safe, welcoming environment for everyone—from our youngest preschoolers to our oldest members. Since volunteers in many of our ministries serve alongside minors or other vulnerable people, all volunteers complete a background check through Checkr.com before joining a team. After you apply, you’ll receive an email with next steps for that process. Once cleared, a ministry leader will reach out to invite you to a volunteer orientation.
