Our church family is experiencing the season of Lent together.

Lent is a special season in the Christian calendar that lasts about six weeks leading up to Easter. Think of it as a spiritual “reset button” or a focused time of reflection and growth.

To help you worship on the go during Lent, we've created a playlist of songs that inspire, uplift, and connect to our Lent sermon series and worship themes.

This Lent, try the HEAR Method to slow down and reflect on Scripture.

All you need is a notebook or the Notes app on your phone. Each day, read the assigned passage listed below. The scripture references link to Bible.com or open in the YouVersion Bible app. Then, write a short HEAR journal entry using the steps below.

H — Highlight
Choose 1–2 verses that stand out—something that speaks to you, sparks curiosity, or feels important.

E — Explain
Put the passage in your own words. Two helpful prompts:

• What is God/Jesus/the Holy Spirit doing here?

• What are people doing here?

A — Apply
Make it concrete. Ask:

• What should I obey?

• What should I avoid?

• What example should I follow?

• What promise can I trust?

R — Respond
Write a brief prayer in response to what you read—honest, simple, and specific.

If you miss a day…

No stress. Don’t double up to “catch up.” Just jump to today’s reading and keep going. If you want, you can revisit missed days at the end.
